Description:

• Zapier is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join the Chatbots team, focusing on revolutionizing customer interaction with AI-powered chatbots.
• The role involves enhancing user interaction with chat history, designing data storage and export systems, surfacing conversation insights, web data scraping for chatbots, expanding AI providers integration, and architecting scalable backend systems.
• Responsibilities also include building and scaling impactful web products, collaborating with product and design teams, designing RESTful APIs, running user engagement experiments, monitoring system health, resolving bugs and addressing feature requests, and engaging with users directly.
• The position offers the opportunity to specialize in various areas of the Zapier codebase and encourages collaboration across teams.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate should have at least 7 years of experience, with 4 years dedicated to crafting web-based software products, particularly in the backend domain.
• Strong expertise in Next.js and React.js for building web applications, tRPC for type-safe APIs, Prisma ORM for database interactions, PostgreSQL, and deploying applications to Vercel is required.
• Proficiency in using tools like Datadog for monitoring and performance optimization is essential.
• Nice-to-have skills include experience with Tailwind or styled-components.
