Remote Senior Fullstack Engineer, Ads

Description:

• The Senior Fullstack Engineer will be part of the Mozilla Ads product team, focusing on privacy-respecting and values-aligned display advertising in Mozilla products.
• Responsibilities include participating in the development of privacy-preserving ad technology, leading and shipping large software projects, mentoring junior engineers, and being a resource for Mozilla's ad stack.
• The role involves working on core systems supporting advertising in clients like Firefox, MDN, Pocket, and Fakespot, and providing guidance to various product teams across Mozilla.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of overall software engineering experience.
• Proven ability to lead and ship large software projects with speed and quality.
• Experience in working on complex backend and frontend systems at scale.
• Proficiency in Golang, Rust, or Java for backend technologies.
• Proficiency in Javascript, React, or Node.js for frontend technologies.
• Ability to work effectively in a distributed team with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in data privacy and experience in digital advertising or advertising platforms are a plus.
