Remote Senior Fullstack Engineer (Backend Focus)

Description:

• The Senior Fullstack Engineer (Backend Focus) position at Kontakt.io involves helping businesses deploy resources and processes efficiently to enhance customer and staff satisfaction.
• The role requires building high-performing and reliable applications, coming up with innovative ideas, and using the best tools to solve scalability issues.
• Responsibilities include developing user-facing Kontakt.io Apps, defining data models, establishing connectivity with third-party systems, building modular components, contributing to architectural decisions, writing documentation, and supporting CI/CD workflows.
• The tech stack includes backend technologies like Kotlin, Java 17, Spring boot, Kafka, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and Python, as well as frontend technologies like Angular 15, TypeScript, Leafletjs, PrimeNG, Vue.js, ES6, and Nginx deployment.
• The position also involves proposing upgrades for modern security and development practices and participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience in designing and developing highly scalable applications using Java/Kotlin, Kafka/RabbitMQ, and MongoDB.
• Strong microservice architecture experience and knowledge of Spring frameworks.
• Experience with Web Flux, Groovy, object-oriented JavaScript/TypeScript, front-end frameworks like Angular, React, Vue, and building applications using RESTful interfaces.
• Proficiency in front-end JavaScript frameworks, HTML, CSS, AWS development, test automation, CI/CD, and source version control.
• Enjoyment of technical challenges, eagerness to explore new technologies, good communication skills (English is a must), and Keycloak experience would be an asset.
