• Nisum seeks an experienced Senior Full-stack Engineer to lead their development team while also contributing hands-on to the design, development, and deployment of robust web applications.
• The role requires working across the full stack, both front-end and back-end, while taking on leadership responsibilities to guide and mentor the development team.
• Responsibilities include leading the design and development of scalable web applications, maintaining clean and efficient code, collaborating with UI/UX designers, developing RESTful APIs, and optimizing performance.

• Collaboration with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders is essential to ensure alignment on requirements and priorities.

Requirements:

• Candidates must reside in Chile or Colombia.
• Advanced English skills are required.
• A minimum of 8 years of professional experience as a Fullstack Engineer is necessary, with a demonstrated ability to work across both front-end and back-end technologies.
• Strong proficiency in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js is essential.
• Extensive experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js, .NET, Python, Java, or similar is required.
• A solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis) is needed.
• Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git) and experience in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI) is expected.
• A strong understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is necessary.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a plus.
• Previous experience in leading or mentoring a development team is required, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and excellent problem-solving skills are also important.
