Remote Senior Fullstack Engineer, Fondue

Description:

• The Fondue team is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting the Fondue Cashback product line at Postscript.
• Fondue increases profitability and turns promotions into relationships for ecommerce merchants by replacing coupon codes with brand-embedded CashBack.
• The company is looking for a motivated fullstack software engineer interested in designing systems at scale in a microservices environment.
• The role involves participating in the development of a performant and feature-rich Cashback offering in the industry.
• The Senior Fullstack Engineer will design and implement microservices in Typescript using Node.js, backed by MongoDB and other NoSQL datastores in an AWS environment.
• Experience with modern SDLC including Agile methodologies is helpful, as well as a penchant for building scalable and flexible systems.
• This is a fully remote position that will be working across a global team, with a preference for EST hours and the ability to work early morning hours.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5-8 years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years in Typescript (Node.js).
• Experience in engineering SaaS products on a cloud platform for 2+ years.
• Experience with NoSQL databases is a plus.
• Candidates should be based in the EST time zone (or CST and open to working early morning hours).
• An independent, highly communicative engineer driven by new technology to serve user needs perfectly is desired.
• A passion for making an impact at scale and a strong motivation to get things done is essential.
• Candidates should be problem solvers with a can-do attitude and a passion for business impact through technology, writing clean code, and testing.
• A true team player with great communication skills is required.
• A love for the tech stack or a passion to convince otherwise is appreciated.
• Past experience in ecommerce and/or payments is optional.
• Experience leading projects and delivering end-to-end successfully is preferred.
