Description:

Base is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer with a focus on frontend onchain engineering to help build and maintain high-quality web applications.
The role involves open sourcing web apps and libraries, managing community contributions, and assisting teams within Coinbase in developing onchain products.
The engineer will also build key components of the OP Stack to support the decentralization of Base and other Layer 2 solutions.
The position is remote and based in the USA.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a minimum of 4 years in developing web applications and shipping user-facing features using JavaScript and modern frameworks like React and NextJS.
Experience in developing and shipping user-facing features that include onchain components is required.
Familiarity with current trends and best practices in frontend architecture and dapp development, including aspects of security, performance, and usability, is essential.
Candidates should be knowledgeable about product and design lifecycles and be able to collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and product managers.
The ability to write high-quality, well-tested, and maintainable code is a must.
Nice to haves include experience with Golang, Geth, Foundry, Solidity, contributions to open source crypto projects, experience with growth experiments or A/B testing frameworks, and building responsive web or mobile applications.
Crypto-forward experience, including familiarity with onchain activities such as interacting with Ethereum addresses and using ENS, is also preferred.

The target annual salary for this position ranges from $186,065 to $218,900 USD, depending on work location.
