Description:

Frontify is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer for the Media Delivery team, focusing on building and optimizing a dynamic, scalable, and high-performance platform.
The role involves collaborating with designers, product managers, and fellow engineers to create seamless user experiences while ensuring efficient, robust, and observable underlying systems.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and implementing media delivery solutions that encompass CDN, API, UI, and media processing/transformation.
The engineer will build and refine API interfaces and service communications, ensuring clarity, scalability, and adaptability.
The position allows for remote work from anywhere in Switzerland or on-site in the St. Gallen office, providing flexibility in the work environment.
The engineer will contribute to architectural decisions and drive technical excellence across the stack, with an emphasis on the Frontend.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a strong background and interest in React and TypeScript, with experience in the broader React ecosystem, including state management libraries and performance optimizations.
A deep understanding of API design, including RESTful and GraphQL, and best practices for structuring efficient, secure, scalable, and maintainable APIs is required.
Applicants should understand and apply best practices in CDN usage and maintenance, cloud storage, caching, and scalable architecture.
Experience in contract and interface definition is necessary to ensure consistent and maintainable code.
Candidates must be skilled in writing unit and integration tests, with a solid grasp of error handling, logging, and observability.
Familiarity with testing frameworks and a deep understanding of component composition, reusability, accessibility, maintainability, and performance best practices are essential.
A collaborative mindset and the ability to embrace feedback and continuous improvement are important for this role.
