Description:

Oowlish is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer with a backend focus to join their team, working remotely from Buenos Aires Province.
The role involves collaborating with clients from the United States and Europe to develop innovative digital solutions.
The engineer will primarily work with React on the frontend and Node.js (with Koa) on the backend.
Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining backend services, building frontend components, developing RESTful APIs, and working with PostgreSQL for database management.
The position requires participation in code reviews, architecture discussions, and contributing to CI/CD pipeline improvements.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript is required.
Extensive experience in building frontends using React is essential.
Deep knowledge of Node.js and backend frameworks, specifically Koa, is necessary.
Solid experience with PostgreSQL and relational database design is required.
Candidates should be comfortable working in a Linux environment for development and deployment.
An understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API development is essential.
Familiarity with testing tools and CI/CD pipelines, such as Jest, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI, is required.
