Oowlish is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer with a backend focus to join their team.
The role involves building and maintaining a platform using React on the frontend and Node.js (with Koa) on the backend.
Candidates will collaborate with clients from the United States and Europe to create innovative digital solutions.
The position allows for remote work, promoting a healthy work-life balance.
Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining backend services, enhancing frontend components, developing RESTful APIs, and working with PostgreSQL for database management.
The role also includes participating in code reviews, architecture discussions, and contributing to CI/CD pipeline improvements.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript is required.
Extensive experience in building frontends using React is necessary.
Deep knowledge of Node.js and backend frameworks, specifically Koa, is essential.
Solid experience with PostgreSQL and relational database design is required.
Candidates should be comfortable working in a Linux environment for development and deployment.
Understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API development is necessary.
Familiarity with testing tools and CI/CD pipelines, such as Jest, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI, is required.
