Oowlish is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer with a backend focus to join their team in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.
The role involves collaborating with clients from the United States and Europe to develop innovative digital solutions.
The position allows for remote work, promoting a healthy work-life balance.
Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining backend services using Node.js and Koa, as well as building frontend components with React and TypeScript.
The engineer will develop and maintain RESTful APIs, work with PostgreSQL for database management, and participate in code reviews and architecture discussions.
The role requires deploying and managing applications in Linux environments and contributing to the improvement of CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript is required.
Extensive experience in building frontends using React is necessary.
Deep knowledge of Node.js and backend frameworks, specifically Koa, is essential.
Solid experience with PostgreSQL and relational database design is required.
Candidates should be comfortable working in a Linux environment for development and deployment.
An understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API development is necessary.
Familiarity with testing tools and CI/CD pipelines, such as Jest, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI, is required.
