Oowlish is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer with a backend focus to join their team in São Paulo, Brazil, with remote work options available.
The role involves collaborating with clients from the United States and Europe to develop innovative digital solutions.
The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services using Node.js and Koa, as well as building frontend components with React and TypeScript.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining RESTful APIs, working with PostgreSQL for database design and optimization, participating in code reviews and architecture discussions, and contributing to CI/CD pipeline improvements.
The work environment is collaborative and agile, emphasizing clean code, scalability, and product impact.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript is required.
Extensive experience in building frontends using React is essential.
Deep knowledge of Node.js and backend frameworks, specifically Koa, is necessary.
Solid experience with PostgreSQL and relational database design is required.
Candidates should be comfortable working in a Linux environment for development and deployment.
An understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API development is essential.
Familiarity with testing tools and CI/CD pipelines, such as Jest, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI, is required.
