The company is seeking a Senior FullStack Engineer (Ruby AND/OR Node + React) for a leading hospitality client based in the US.
The role involves scaling APIs and platforms, with a focus on building dynamic pricing systems and marketplaces.
The technology stack includes TypeScript, Node.js, Ruby on Rails, React, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, AWS, and Docker.
Responsibilities include designing and developing cloud-based services, applying a metrics-driven mindset to product development, participating in architecture discussions, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with Product to translate requirements into solutions.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 7+ years of backend experience using scripting languages like Node.js and/or Ruby on Rails.
A strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, system design, and object-oriented programming (OOP) is required.
Experience in building distributed, cloud-based, resilient systems that can handle variable traffic loads is essential.
Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases is necessary.
Familiarity with CI/CD workflows, including Git, GitHub, and Jenkins, is required.
Candidates should have experience with Docker and AWS infrastructure.
The ability to learn quickly and adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment is important.
Strong experience with React is also required.
