Description:
The Senior Fullstack JavaScript Web Engineer position at SimpliCity Digital involves shaping the role and contributing to backend and frontend development tasks.
The role includes working on JSON REST APIs, React components, web apps, MySQL, security, Azure cloud services, docker deployments, queues, logging, and exploring new technologies.
The ideal candidate will be a polyglot with proven experience in at least one specialty area (backend, frontend, devops, etc.) and have worked on medium to large web applications.
Experience with government, public sector, education, non-profit organizations, and MACH-related technologies is considered a bonus.
Requirements:
Must have mastery in JavaScript, particularly Node and React, with additional knowledge in Java, TypeScript, .Net, C#, GraphQL, Python, HTML, and CSS.
Need extensive development experience in areas like frontend and backend JavaScript, REST API services, cloud infrastructure, system integrations, data lakes, machine learning, deployments, continuous integration, etc.
Should possess at least 6 years of fullstack web development experience and a computer science degree or equivalent training.
Bonus points for experience with municipal software systems like Tempest, PerfectMind, Amanda, ESRI, POSSE, Energov, eScribe, and headless CMSes like Contentful, Strapi, Hygraph, Sitecore, etc.
Must be authorized to work full-time in Canada and currently reside in the country.
