Description:
We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our Engineering team.
Our main office is in Paris, but we are a very distributed team with people working remotely across Europe and the Americas.
You will drive the development of our user-facing web applications built with React, along with their associated backends developed in Feathers and NestJS.
The PMP team is responsible for Didomi’s core product — the Preference Management Platform, which helps organizations collect, manage, and activate user preferences and consent across all touchpoints.
This platform empowers businesses to offer personalized, privacy-conscious experiences while ensuring compliance with regulations like the GDPR, CCPA, and other global privacy laws.
You will be in charge of part of the architecture of our web applications.
You will ensure that we have the right tests and structure in place to move quickly without breaking everything.
You will share your knowledge of software development principles and best practices with the team.
You will keep learning new technologies and be on the lookout for new ideas to try out.
You will work closely with product owners to refine product requirements and convert them into technical specifications, ensuring what we build is feasible and maintainable.
Requirements:
You must have at least 5 years of experience with solid knowledge of JavaScript and Typescript.
You should have experience with modern JavaScript and Typescript tooling and libraries.
You need to have experience with back-end applications in Node.js with Feathers or NestJS.
You should have experience with front-end applications in React or similar frameworks.
A quality-oriented mindset is required, focusing on testing, code reviews, and code quality.
You must have awareness of performance considerations.
A passion for simple, maintainable, and readable code that balances pragmatism and performance is essential.
Bonus points for experience with AWS or other cloud providers, micro-frontends architecture, and micro-services architecture.
Benefits:
You will be part of a product and engineering team committed to a high level of quality in our products and code.
We believe that automation is key to achieving velocity of development and pride in what we deliver.
The majority of the engineering team works remotely, with only a 4-hour overlap required with CET working hours.
We rely on automated tests and continuous integration/delivery to build flexible applications that can evolve without breaking.
We trust our engineers to focus on the quality of their code and iterate quickly without fears of breaking things.
We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
