Description:
OpsLevel is seeking a Senior Fullstack Software Developer with a focus on backend development.
The role involves working with product, UX, and fellow developers to understand customer problems and lead the development of features to address those issues.
Candidates are expected to maintain a high standard of technical excellence through quality code contributions and reviews.
The developer will contribute to a culture of ownership by identifying technical debt and opportunities for architectural improvements.
Responsibilities include building private and public GraphQL APIs, leading technical explorations, and creating proof-of-concept prototypes.
The position requires timely project execution and effective communication regarding project status.
Mentorship and investment in the growth of team members are also key aspects of the role.
Participation in an on-call schedule for troubleshooting across the technical stack is required.
Requirements:

Applicants must have experience designing architectures with strong interface boundaries and a solid understanding of SOLID design principles.
A minimum of 5 years of experience with Ruby on Rails or 7 years with a similar web framework is required.
Candidates should have experience designing performant data models with MySQL and a strong understanding of RDBMS structuring.
Familiarity with modern cloud technologies such as AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform is preferred.
Additional experience with job systems for Ruby on Rails, scaling web applications, and in-memory datastores like Redis is a plus.
