Remote Senior Fullstack Software Engineer

Description:

• Join tvScientific as a Senior Fullstack Engineer working on their CTV/OTT-focused ad-buying platform.
• Collaborate with a remote team to build efficient front-end features using React or similar technologies.
• Develop backend APIs, models, and business logic using Python/Django.
• Write clean, testable, and documented code, delivering new features to production.
• Work in a fast-paced agile environment with continuous deployment, mentoring and supporting other engineers.
• Success defined by story point burn downs, efficient feature delivery, and high-quality code.
• Requirements include 7+ years of JavaScript and React experience, 5+ years of Python/Django experience, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Remote communication skills, passion for building reliable web applications, and ability to work under pressure are essential.
• Additional qualifications such as adtech experience, CTV domain knowledge, and AWS technologies understanding are a plus.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of production experience with JavaScript.
• 7+ years of experience working with React.
• 5+ years of experience working with Python backends (ideally Django).
• Production experience with Single Page Applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn/adapt to new technologies.
• Top-notch remote communication skills.
• Passion for building reliable "done right the first time" web applications.
• Experience managing or being a technical lead for teams of developers.
• Ability to work under pressure and iterate quickly against rapidly updating plans.
• Computer Science degree or equivalent.
