Description:

  • The Senior Fullstack Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, optimizing, and maintaining CaptivateIQ's data and core platform functionality.
  • They will work across the full product stack to develop and enhance product features.
  • Participation in the entire product development process, from scoping projects to measuring success and iterating based on feedback, is required.
  • Maintaining high engineering and security standards, continuously improving codebases and processes, and collaborating with engineers across the company to develop and iterate at scale are key responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in a software engineering role.
  • Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
  • Extensive backend development experience and comfort with frontend development.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Django and React.
  • Experience with a relational database such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
  • Track record of taking responsibility and ownership over core product areas.
  • Attention to detail and a user-centric focus.
  • Experience in making data-driven decisions on product and process.
  • Experience in building a positive remote-first culture.
