Vanta is seeking a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to join their team remotely in the U.S.
The mission of Vanta is to secure the internet and protect consumer data by enabling companies to practice better security and prove it with ease.
The role involves delivering high-value products for customers and building infrastructure that supports business scalability.
The engineer will set technical direction and drive complex projects across the technical stack to support Vanta's rapid growth.
The position focuses on the Test Experience team, which shapes the future of automated Product Tests, a key feature of the platform.
Responsibilities include building a new Tests data architecture, enhancing customization and visibility of test inputs, integrating AI tools into the Tests lifecycle, and scaling infrastructure for a growing customer base.
The engineer will design, develop, and own new product functionality using modern frameworks and tooling such as TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
The role requires leading high-impact projects with multiple stakeholders and contributing to Vanta's engineering culture.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 5 years of full stack experience.
A passion for high visibility customer-facing features and a strong eye for detail is essential.
Experience or interest in integrating AI tools into UI flows is required.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are necessary for success in this role.
Candidates should have played technical leadership roles for teams or complex projects.
Previous startup experience or experience in an environment that prioritizes a bias for action is preferred.
An interest in learning about security or prior experience in the security space is beneficial.
