• The Senior Fullstack Typescript Engineer will contribute to engineering best practices to ensure product reliability and scalability.
• Responsibilities include designing, building, and supporting the product, leading frontend functionality from discovery to maintenance, and participating in agile methodologies.
• The engineer will mentor peers, collaborate with product and design teams, and identify risks and security vulnerabilities in the codebase.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have strong full-stack development experience in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Experience working with a Design System is required.
• Applicants should be able to design, develop, and maintain web applications and APIs.
• Familiarity with unit testing and test automation libraries/strategies is necessary.
• Candidates must be comfortable executing the SDLC, including automated testing and CI/CD practices.
• Knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL systems, as well as ORM frameworks, is required.
• Understanding of service-oriented architecture and experience building RPC and REST API endpoints is essential.
• Candidates should have knowledge of high-availability, fault-tolerant, scalable, distributed systems.
• The ability to create technical and functional documentation for software or systems is required.
• Experience with Backstage.io product/APIs, working with DevOps and Platform engineers, and a passion for application design trends are considered bonuses.
