Remote Senior Fullstack Typescript Engineer

Description:

• As a Senior Full Stack TypeScript Engineer at Nearsure, you will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and project managers to implement new features across Content Delivery while enhancing the scalability of services through proper planning and load testing.
• You will work on improving the availability of the platform by enhancing monitoring, performance reporting, and error reporting, as well as optimizing server response times of APIs by identifying and eliminating bottlenecks.
• System security will be a key consideration in all design decisions, and you will work with operations to assess new infrastructure needs.
• You will research and develop ways to better serve customers, plan, analyze, and optimize to support team growth.
• Responsibilities include developing and maintaining robust back-end solutions for cloud-based systems using Node.js (Typescript), collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications, implementing scalable microservices and serverless functions using AWS/GCP technologies, providing support for front-end application development, and ensuring consistent performance.
• Effective communication within remote or distributed teams, participation in on-call rotations to address incidents promptly, writing clean, testable code, implementing unit/integration tests, designing scalable, modular systems, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, optimizing cost and performance metrics of cloud services, creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation, and staying informed about industry trends are also part of the role.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ Years of experience working as a software engineer on back-end, cloud-based systems.
• 5+ Years of experience working with Node (Typescript).
• 2+ Years of experience working with AWS, Lambda, SQS, and DynamoDB.
• 2+ Years of experience working with relational databases like MySQL or PostgresSQL.
• Advanced English Level is required for effective communication with US clients.
