Remote Senior Game Developer (Unannounced Project)

Description:

• You will be working on a new, unannounced multiplayer, cross-platform flagship game with a team of highly experienced engineers.
• Your focus will be on the session-to-session game cycle (game meta), which encompasses a significant part of the project and includes features such as login, account progression, commerce, quests, statistics, socialization, matchmaking, and many other aspects.
• You will develop scalable, reliable, fault-tolerant, and high-performance microservices that support robust multiplayer experiences.
• You will implement client-server architecture to ensure efficient and stable communication between game clients and backend services.
• You will actively participate in all aspects of game development, from technical design and coding to setting up and deploying game infrastructure.
• You will collaborate with team members located in different countries, including developers, designers, and testers, to ensure seamless integration of all game components.
• You will optimize and maintain the codebase and libraries, focusing on reusability, performance, scalability, and reliability.

Requirements:

• You must have extensive experience in web backend development.
• You must have extensive experience working with relational databases.
• You must have strong proficiency in Python development.
• You must have strong knowledge of basic data structures and algorithms.
• You must have experience in C++ development.
• You must have experience in developing asynchronous and multithreaded applications.
• You should have ambitions to grow, learn new skills, and push the boundaries of what’s possible in game development.
