Description:

This is a remote position for those based in Poland, offered on a 6-month initial contract basis.
Nearform is a digital and AI engineering consultancy focused on creating transformative digital products for enterprise customers across the UK and Ireland.
The role involves developing infrastructure to support cloud-based applications, creating deployment architecture and continuous delivery pipelines, designing high-availability approaches, and implementing monitoring architecture including dashboards, alerts, and escalations.

Requirements:

Proficient communication in English, both oral and written, is essential.
Candidates must have experience delivering at an enterprise level and in a remote agile environment.
Experience managing and automating complex platforms/applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is required.
Familiarity with containers and container orchestration, ideally including Kubernetes, is necessary.
Candidates should have experience with infrastructure as code technology, ideally with Terraform.
Experience with continuous integration (CI) and building continuous delivery (CD) pipelines, ideally with GitHub actions, is required.
Data storage experience with both RDBMS and NoSQL technologies is necessary.
A solid understanding of observability practices across the stack is essential.
Experience with security assessment frameworks (e.g., Soc2) and security awareness throughout the stack is required.
The ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences is necessary.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work with stakeholders and drive technical discussions in client-facing roles are essential.
