Description:
Design and code production data pipelines for processing hyperspectral imagery from the GHOSt satellite constellation
Collaborate with payload & analytics teams to implement research algorithms on the SIGMA platform
Implement image processing algorithms for an automated production environment
Build tools to manage and monitor the processing system and imagery catalog
Develop APIs to provide imagery and insights to both internal and external customers
Collaborate with product team to prioritize features and services
Break down and plan features for incremental delivery
Requirements:
5+ years of experience writing geospatial code in Python
Proficiency in GDAL, Rasterio, xarray, and other libraries for handling raster data
Familiarity with cloud computing deployments (e.g., AWS) and Linux environments
Experience with orchestration technologies like AWS Step Functions
Knowledge of serverless compute platforms such as AWS Fargate and Lambda
Previous experience writing code for a production environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Effective collaboration skills for remote team work
Benefits:
Competitive salary range of $120,000 - $190,000 per year (California, Washington & New York City) and $115,000-$185,000 per year (Colorado)
