CloudLinux OS is a flagship product that runs on over 50,000 production servers and powers over 40 million websites, recognized for its security and efficiency in shared hosting environments.
The company is seeking a talented Senior Golang Developer to join the CloudLinuxOS team.
The developer will work on the Apache2Nginx project, which sets up NGINX on servers and automatically converts .htaccess files into corresponding NGINX configurations.
The position is fully remote with flexible hours, allowing employees to plan their day and work from anywhere.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in Go.
Good proficiency in Linux/Unix, with experience in RHEL/CentOS/AlmaLinux is required.
Experience with WAFs, particularly ModSecurity, is necessary.
Candidates should have knowledge and understanding of classical algorithms and data structures, with the ability to analyze their performance.
The ability to write and maintain code according to the Go style guide is essential.
Experience in multithreaded programming and developing asynchronous applications is required.
A strong understanding of the network stack, particularly TCP/IP and HTTP, is necessary.
Knowledge of Go testing and debugging tools is required.
Experience in monitoring deployments and application performance is essential.
Candidates must be able to identify and troubleshoot emerging issues and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
Experience patching upstream solutions written in Go is required.
Strong knowledge of Nginx/Apache architecture for developing additional components that modify core behavior is necessary.
Proficiency in Git and experience with Shell scripting are required.
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to read and understand others' code are essential.
English proficiency at an upper-intermediate level is required.
Experience in system programming, Coraza, Python, C/C++, open-source projects, Internet security basics, data serialization algorithms, embedded databases, and integration with C code and libraries would be a plus.
