Remote Senior Golang developer

Description:

• We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Golang Developer to join our dynamic team.
• The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable backend applications using Golang.
• You will be responsible for building high-performance, distributed systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• This position is fully remote and based in the Philippines, with a time zone alignment to the United Kingdom (GMT).
• The employment type is contractor, with a mission duration of 6 months that is renewable.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 7+ years of experience in backend development, with at least 5 years of Golang experience.
• A strong understanding of concurrency, memory management, and garbage collection in Golang is required.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, gRPC, and GraphQL is necessary.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is essential.
• Candidates should have experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure is required.
• A strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems is necessary.
• Knowledge of message queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently are essential.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required.
