Description:

This is a contract position for those based in Brazil, with the initial contract lasting until the end of March 2025, and the potential for extension.
As a Senior Golang Developer at NearForm, you will play an important role in the development process.
The ideal candidate will be proactive and a good communicator who wants to build things right the first time.
You will be responsible for developing and iterating on a complex variety of shared tools used across multiple teams at scale.
Your tasks will include designing and building cloud-based applications using server-side technologies including Golang.
You will support system design, development, and maintenance, taking responsibility for personal technical quality standards within the project team.
Assisting with defining structured practices, especially in source code management, building, and deployment will be part of your role.
You will design and implement data storage solutions and optimize performance in applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Gathering feedback from users and clients to build solutions for them will be essential.
You will assist with the analysis of client requirements and work with and support Technical Leaders in project execution and timely delivery.
Collaboration with internal and client teams will be a key aspect of your work.

Requirements:

Proficient communication in English (oral and written) and excellent communication skills are required.
You should have 5+ years of experience in professional software engineering in an enterprise and agile environment.
A deep understanding of server-side code, with extensive experience developing in Golang, is necessary.
Experience with gRPC Protobufs is required.
You must have experience with complex PostgreSQL query creation and performance optimization.
Experience integrating with third-party APIs and two-way syncing is essential.
Familiarity with cloud technologies is required.
Experience with Finance and Decentralised finance (DeFi) is considered a nice to have.
