Remote Senior Growth Engineer (SEO & Performance)

Description:

• Join the Growth team at Remote, responsible for developing and maintaining the public-facing website.
• Work with a team of over 200 engineers across Frontend, Backend, SRE, and QA.
• Use React, Next.js, Elixir, Phoenix, Postgres, GitLab, and AWS technologies.
• Implement SEO best practices and optimize frontend performance for search engine rankings and user experience.
• Conduct performance audits, stay updated on latest trends, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Frontend Engineer with feature-rich software projects.
• Proficiency in React, Next.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and improving search engine visibility.
• Understanding of web performance optimization techniques and tools.
• Familiarity with third-party APIs (analytics, data collection, headless CMS, etc.).
• Ability to work independently, handle ambiguity, and transform abstract concepts into working software.
• Curiosity, willingness to learn, and experience working with Sales and Marketing teams is a plus.
