Remote Senior Implementations Specialist (SaaS B2B Finance Data)

Description:

• The Data Solutions team works with new customers to set up their data in Subscript and verify everything is correct.
• The product is a metrics-first finance and billing platform that empowers B2B SaaS leaders to manage invoicing, ARR storytelling, and accounting revenue tracking.
• The role involves being the first point of contact for new customers post-signing, guiding them through complex, data-intensive implementations.
• Responsibilities include connecting customers to their source data, cleaning and validating data in Subscript, and performing analyses to maximize customer value.
• Implementations will involve working with clients' CRMs (e.g., Hubspot, Salesforce), general ledgers (e.g., Quickbooks, Xero), billing tools (e.g., Stripe, Maxio, Chargebee), and spreadsheets to ensure accurate ARR metrics, invoices, and accounting revenue.
• The Subscript app serves as a customizable ETL pipeline, requiring configuration of ingestion rules using an in-house transformation layer.
• The role will involve using spreadsheets for data transformation, internal configuration JSON files for external data source connections, SQL for internal data understanding, and Postman/APIs for fetching external data.
• Python knowledge is a bonus for data fetching and transformation tasks.
• The position is part of a small, growing team, allowing for significant input in shaping the role and processes.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate should have a passion for data, with skills in analyzing, discussing, and advising customers using data.
• Serious spreadsheet skills are required.
• Experience in requesting and reading JSON data from APIs is necessary.
• A strong satisfaction in achieving perfectly clean data is essential.
• A background in project management and/or client-facing communication is required.
• Proficiency in SQL is necessary.
• Knowledge of B2B SaaS business models is required.
• The candidate must be able to work during US-Pacific time.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.
• Comfort in Python, experience with SaaS finance general ledgers (e.g., Quickbooks, Xero, Netsuite), and exposure to CRM software (Hubspot, Salesforce) are preferred but not required.
