Remote Senior Infrastructure Engineer (ML/AI)

Description:

• Workato is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer (ML/AI) to join their Infrastructure: CI/CD team in Tbilisi, Georgia.
• The role involves building a modern, cloud-native, scalable CI/CD solution for the Workato application ecosystem.
• Responsibilities include enhancing automation for code integration, quality testing, security scanning, and deployment.
• The engineer will maintain and enhance the current CI/CD solution, implement pipelines for security and reliability, and manage complex deployment scenarios.
• The position requires creating infrastructure for load testing and collaborating with engineering teams to improve developer throughput.
• The engineer will also be responsible for onboarding Workato components to the CI/CD platform, analyzing metrics for performance tuning, and participating in system design and architecture reviews.
• Documentation of development processes and continuous improvement through technology investigation are also key responsibilities.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 7+ years of professional experience in hands-on engineering roles, with a BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience hosting AI models and 1 year of experience with ML Ops is required.
• Strong expertise in managing Kubernetes clusters, particularly using EKS, is essential.
• Proficiency in Python is required, with additional programming skills in Go, Ruby, or JavaScript being a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and Argo Workflows is necessary.
• Candidates should have hands-on experience with cloud-based architectures, especially AWS, and a strong understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and containerization technologies is required.
• Familiarity with compliance and security regulations, including SOC2 and GDPR, is essential.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work remotely with distributed teams are necessary, along with good spoken English for technical discussions.
