Description:
Workato is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer (ML/AI) to join their Infrastructure: CI/CD team in Tbilisi, Georgia.
The role involves building a modern, cloud-native, scalable CI/CD solution for the Workato application ecosystem.
Responsibilities include enhancing automation for code integration, quality testing, security scanning, and deployment.
The engineer will maintain and enhance the current CI/CD solution, implement pipelines for security and reliability, and manage complex deployment scenarios.
The position requires creating infrastructure for load testing and collaborating with engineering teams to improve developer throughput.
The engineer will also be responsible for onboarding Workato components to the CI/CD platform, analyzing metrics for performance tuning, and participating in system design and architecture reviews.
Documentation of development processes and continuous improvement through technology investigation are also key responsibilities.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 7+ years of professional experience in hands-on engineering roles, with a BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 1 year of experience hosting AI models and 1 year of experience with ML Ops is required.
Strong expertise in managing Kubernetes clusters, particularly using EKS, is essential.
Proficiency in Python is required, with additional programming skills in Go, Ruby, or JavaScript being a plus.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and Argo Workflows is necessary.
Candidates should have hands-on experience with cloud-based architectures, especially AWS, and a strong understanding of networking fundamentals.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and containerization technologies is required.
Familiarity with compliance and security regulations, including SOC2 and GDPR, is essential.
Good communication skills and the ability to work remotely with distributed teams are necessary, along with good spoken English for technical discussions.
