Remote Senior Integration Engineer

Description:

• The Senior Integration Engineer will join the SmartBidder team at Ascend Analytics to facilitate the integration of software with external systems managing renewable energy assets and energy markets.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with clients and third-party engineers, designing and implementing integrations, troubleshooting issues, developing a common integration framework, maintaining documentation, and providing technical support.
• The role involves scoping, designing, and implementing integrations, driving internal API and QA development, and managing deployment of new releases.
• The position requires working closely with customer success teams, staying organized, and managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in implementing third-party integrations or as a technical sales resource for software products.
• Proficiency in Python and extensive knowledge of data structures, API schemas, communication protocols (SOAP, REST), and data formats (JSON, XML).
• Understanding of security requirements for integrations and ability to gather clear requirements from third-parties.
• Flexibility to work on multiple workstreams concurrently and familiarity with project management.
