Description:

  • The Senior Integration Engineer at VERB will be responsible for developing API services for the company's enterprise products.
  • They will work closely with stakeholders to translate client requests into technical solutions.
  • The role involves collaborating with third-party web service providers to create reusable integrations.
  • The engineer will need to identify and utilize software design patterns and build reusable code and libraries.
  • They will document and demonstrate solutions through various methods and optimize applications for scalability and performance.
  • Debugging complex issues across multiple systems and vendors will be a key responsibility.
  • Adherence to internal workflow and development standards is essential.
  • The engineer will collaborate with team members and stakeholders, providing clear communication and support.
  • They will also offer architecture guidance and mentorship to the development team.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience with PHP frameworks is required for this position.
  • A post-secondary education in computer science or equivalent experience is necessary.
  • Experience with LAMP-stack technologies and the Symfony PHP framework or similar MVC frameworks is essential.
  • Familiarity with modern PHP development practices and tools, including PHP7+ and Composer, is a must.
  • Proficiency in API development tools such as Postman, SoapUI, Swagger/OpenAPI is required.
  • Knowledge of OWASP best practices and CI processes, including automated testing, is necessary.
  • Familiarity with web infrastructure technologies like SSL and DNS is expected.
  • Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git and Gitlab, is essential.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are required.
