Description:
The Senior Integration Engineer will be responsible for collaborating with clients and third-party engineers to ensure smooth integration of software with external systems managing renewable energy assets, interface with energy markets, and provide key data for energy market optimization.
They will scope, design, develop, and implement integrations with third-party solutions and data providers.
Troubleshoot issues, propose effective solutions, and develop a common framework for integrating third-party software.
Drive internal API, alerting, and QA design and development to improve efficiency and stability.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of implemented solutions and configurations.
Project-manage integration work, participate in technical support, and deploy new releases.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
4+ years experience in implementing third-party integrations or as a technical sales resource for software products.
Strong proficiency in Python.
Extensive experience with data structures, API schemas, API design philosophies, and common communication protocols (SOAP, REST).
Understanding of security requirements for integration work.
Ability to gather clear requirements from third-parties and manage multiple workstreams in parallel.
Familiarity with project management and tracking progress internally and externally.
