Description:

The company is seeking a Senior iOS Developer to support Lightspeed’s Hospitality product group in expanding their reach into new markets and enhancing their hospitality commerce platform.
The role involves joining a team focused on Lightspeed Integrations, ensuring the flagship product meets the needs of the EMEA and NOAM markets.
Responsibilities include collaborating with industry talents to enhance the iOS app, designing and implementing mobile applications using Swift and Objective-C, and balancing the development of new features with the maintenance of existing integrations.
The developer will report to the Team Lead and engage with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, and cross-functional teams for seamless integration and performance.
Participation in daily Agile ceremonies and creative brainstorming sessions is expected to challenge conventional approaches and execute innovative solutions.
The role emphasizes high standards in code quality, system reliability, and ownership of the codebase, while also sharing insights and best practices in iOS development.

Requirements:

Candidates must have advanced programming skills in Swift, with knowledge of Objective-C being ideal.
A good understanding of Structured Concurrency, UIKit, SwiftUI, Core Data, and REST APIs is required.
Experience in writing automated unit and functional tests is necessary.
A conceptual understanding of software design and code aesthetics is important.
Experience with local network communication and external accessories (e.g., payment terminals, printers) is a plus.
The ideal candidate should be a team player who enjoys contributing to discussions and sharing opinions.
Self-motivation and the ability to work effectively in a team with minimal supervision are essential.
