Remote Senior IOS Developer - Contractor

• MentorMate is seeking a Senior iOS Developer to join a team of intelligent technologists in creating groundbreaking mobile applications.
• The role involves full participation in the software development process, including design, development, unit testing, and technical documentation.
• The developer will utilize the Scrum methodology to deliver cutting-edge software solutions and collaborate with other mobile specialists.
• The mobile development team has over 20 years of industry experience and works with technologies like Swift UI, Jetpack Compose, React Native, and Flutter to develop native and hybrid mobile apps for various industries.
• Responsibilities include designing and building iOS applications for a rewards and marketing research platform, providing technical leadership, ensuring application performance and quality, integrating with server-side APIs, and daily communication with team members and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as an iOS Developer.
• Proficiency in Swift, Objective-C, and UIKit.
• Significant experience with iOS frameworks like Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
• Deep understanding of Swift design patterns and architectures (MVC, MVVM, VIPER, or Clean architecture), memory management, and multi-threaded, asynchronous code.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, performance tuning, code signing, and delivery of iOS applications.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Apple’s design principles, and interface guidelines.
• Passion for building mobile applications, experience with SCRUM methodology, and excellent spoken and written English.
• BS/MS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent is a significant advantage.
• Additional advantage with experience in other mobile development platforms, a portfolio of working mobile applications, and samples of source code.
