Description:

The company is seeking a Senior iOS Developer to support Lightspeed’s Hospitality product group.
The role involves enhancing the advanced hospitality commerce platform and expanding into new markets and countries.
The developer will focus on Lightspeed Integrations to improve customer business workflows.
Responsibilities include collaborating with industry talents to develop innovative features and user-centric workflows for the iOS app.
The developer will design and implement efficient and functional mobile applications for iOS devices using Swift and Objective-C.
Daily activities will involve balancing the development of new features with the maintenance of existing integrations.
The developer will report to the Team Lead and engage with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, and cross-functional teams.
Participation in daily Agile ceremonies and creative brainstorming sessions is expected.
The developer will champion high standards in code quality and system reliability, taking ownership of the codebase.
The role includes sharing insights and adopting best practices in iOS development to elevate team performance.

Requirements:

Candidates must have advanced programming skills in Swift, and ideally Objective-C.
A good knowledge of Structured Concurrency, UIKit, SwiftUI, Core Data, and REST APIs is required.
Experience in writing automated unit and functional tests is necessary.
A conceptual understanding of software design and code beauty is important.
Experience with local network communication and external accessories (e.g., payment terminals, printers) is a plus.
The candidate should be a team player who contributes to discussions and shares opinions.
Self-motivation and the ability to function effectively in a team environment with minimal supervision are essential.
