Remote Senior iOS Developer, Payments

Description:

• theScore is a subsidiary of PENN Entertainment that provides digital media and sports betting products.
• The role is for a Senior iOS Developer on the Payments team, focusing on enhancing customer experience within theScore & ESPN BET Sportsbook platforms.
• The goal is to create the best platform for patrons to manage their funds.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with design, product, frontend, and backend teams to deliver a first-class deposit/withdrawal experience.
• The position involves designing, architecting, and shipping applications, implementing user interfaces, improving code quality, and solving complex problems.
• The developer will assist the QA team with automation and keep up with the latest iOS development trends.
• Other duties may be assigned as required.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working with Swift and Cocoa.
• At least 5 years of experience in commercial iOS development.
• Proven ability to deliver clean, organized, testable, and highly performant code.
• Experience in developing pixel-perfect user interfaces.
• Familiarity with unit testing and integrating APIs with mobile applications.
• Proficient in using Git and Cocoapods.
• Experience with large native code bases that have significant complexity.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, software development principles, and design patterns.
• Understanding of concurrency best practices and pitfalls.
• Highly skilled with profiling and debugging tools.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience is required.
• A passion for sports and/or gaming is considered an asset.
