BetterUp is seeking a driven Senior iOS Engineer who is passionate about their craft and wants to create positive change in the world.
The role involves collaborating with designers and stakeholders to develop high-quality experiences in a fully-Swift iOS application.
The engineer will work as a Lean and Agile Owner, collaborating with cross-functional teams to synthesize requirements into meaningful iterations for quick implementation.
Responsibilities include building a scalable and stable application architecture using MVVM and Functional Reactive patterns, while following automated testing best practices.

Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related Engineering field is preferred.
Candidates should have 5+ years of experience building native iOS applications, including experience at a startup.
A strong and up-to-date understanding of Swift and the iOS SDK is required.
Applicants should possess a strong grasp of UI design patterns and a passion for creating delightful user experiences.
Familiarity with functional reactive programming concepts (such as ReactiveCocoa/ReactiveSwift) or a strong desire to learn them is necessary.
Experience with automated testing, including unit tests and integration tests, is essential.
A successful history of working as part of a remote team is required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, a high level of integrity, and a passion for collaboration are important.
