Remote Senior iOS Engineer

Description:

• The Senior iOS Engineer will be responsible for developing iOS client code solutions that align with the Product Strategy and follow established engineering best practices, design guidelines, and principles.
• Collaborate with Software Engineers, UX/UI, Quality Engineers, and Product Owners/Analysts to create high-performing quality customer experiences for a premier consumer mobile application in the financial industry.
• Participate in all team agile ceremonies to ensure timely delivery of high-quality commitments.
• Advocate for the mobile platform within internal and external developer communities.
• Stay updated on technologies related to mobile development such as Swift, Kotlin, and 3rd party libraries.
• Mentor junior to mid-level team members and engage with developers across different disciplines.
• Lead the delivery of major components and platform needs in collaboration with senior engineers and Architects.
• Share best practices, improve processes, identify technical obstacles, and find creative solutions.
• Review pull requests to ensure adherence to Swift and other language idioms and provide SME level leadership.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Minimum 4 years of software engineering experience (Internship experience not considered).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in building iOS applications.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Swift.
• Preferred: 3+ years of experience building iOS applications.
• Preferred: 3+ years of experience with Swift.
• Preferred: 1+ years of experience in open source frameworks.
• Preferred: 1+ years of experience with Agile practices.
