Description:
GoFundMe is hiring a Senior iOS Engineer to work on its mobile products.
This position is remote, specifically for candidates located in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The role involves driving architectural, product, and technology decisions for front-end features.
Responsibilities include implementing new features from scratch and collaborating with product managers to define clear requirements, deliverables, and milestones.
The engineer will translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code and analyze and optimize UI and back-end application code for efficiency and performance.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of iOS software development experience.
Strong experience with iOS and Swift / SwiftUI programming is required.
Extensive knowledge of object-oriented software development is necessary.
Experience with Multi-Threading and memory management specific to mobile devices is essential.
Candidates should have experience with caching mechanisms.
Experience writing unit tests and testable code is required.
Familiarity with API and backend tech stack is necessary.
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills are essential.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or relevant equivalent technical experience is required.
