You will work with an Egypt-based grocery delivery startup that has rapidly grown from a local bakery service to a full-scale platform offering thousands of daily essentials delivered in under an hour.
The startup is backed by over $33M in funding and operates across major Egyptian cities while expanding regionally with a strong tech-driven supply chain.
Responsibilities include designing and developing advanced iOS applications using SwiftUI and Combine, collaborating with product managers, designers, and backend engineers, writing maintainable and testable code, and participating in code reviews.
You will architect scalable and modular mobile solutions, optimize app performance, mentor junior engineers, and stay updated with the latest iOS trends and tools.
Participation in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives is also expected.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 4+ years of professional iOS development experience.
A strong proficiency in Swift, with hands-on experience in SwiftUI and Combine, is required.
A solid understanding of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and iOS design principles is necessary.
Experience with MVVM or other modern iOS architectures is essential.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and networking frameworks is required.
Candidates should have experience with version control systems (Git) and collaboration tools (GitHub, GitLab, etc.).
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance tuning skills are necessary.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required for this position.
