Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer (Java Backend Development) to join our growing Commerce Infrastructure Engineering team.
Your objective will be to design, implement, and scale systems to manage millions of monthly subscriptions, orders, and payments.
The solutions you deliver will need to accommodate current BFA’s brands’ domestic distributed operations as well as future international operations in a multitenant way.
Responsibilities include implementing features on a multitenant microservice platform in Java utilizing Spring Boot.
You will enhance systems to process millions of orders in a short period of time.
You will assist in design and architecture decisions for the systems.
The role requires working in a collaborative team environment.

Requirements:

You must have experience coding diligently in Java.
A creative and precise problem solver is essential for this position.
A strong knowledge of Spring or other similar inversion of control frameworks is required.
You should have a passion for working on and driving large scale projects to completion.
Familiarity with third-party backend API integrations is necessary.
You must be familiar with databases, including schema design, queries, and performance.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is required.
This is a full-time permanent role with EST-CST hours and work from home until the project goes live.
