Description:

  • Devtech is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join their Global Services Unit in a remote, full-time position.
  • The role involves participating in all aspects of software development, from initial specifications to development, testing, and launching.
  • The developer will focus on writing high-quality Java and JavaScript code in a timely and scalable manner.
  • Responsibilities include collaborating with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Software Developers, Quality Assurance, and DevOps engineers to implement complex back-end systems for cloud-based security products.
  • The developer will communicate with client stakeholders and develop robust, resilient, and reliable solutions.
  • Participation in technical design, code reviews, planning, and retrospective activities is expected.
  • The role also involves interpreting design requirements to produce new or enhanced application functionalities.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 6+ years of experience with Java.
  • Knowledge of SQL is required.
  • Familiarity with MVC web frameworks and data-driven applications is necessary.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is essential.
  • Experience working on large systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of HTML5 and React.js is advantageous.
  • Understanding of NoSQL databases is a plus.
  • Experience with Groovy or Kotlin is beneficial.
  • Experience in designing front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS3, and JavaScript is a plus.
  • A good understanding of CI/CD practices is a plus.
  • Experience working with AWS is advantageous.
  • A good understanding of Scrum methodology is a plus.
  • Experience in the security domain is a plus.
  • Experience with marketplace enablement is a plus.
  • Excellent command of the English language is required.
