Description:
Devtech is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join their Global Services Unit in a remote, full-time position.
The role involves participating in all aspects of software development, from initial specifications to development, testing, and launching.
The developer will focus on writing high-quality Java and JavaScript code in a timely and scalable manner.
Responsibilities include collaborating with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Software Developers, Quality Assurance, and DevOps engineers to implement complex back-end systems for cloud-based security products.
The developer will communicate with client stakeholders and develop robust, resilient, and reliable solutions.
Participation in technical design, code reviews, planning, and retrospective activities is expected.
The role also involves interpreting design requirements to produce new or enhanced application functionalities.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 6+ years of experience with Java.
Knowledge of SQL is required.
Familiarity with MVC web frameworks and data-driven applications is necessary.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is essential.
Experience working on large systems is a plus.
Knowledge of HTML5 and React.js is advantageous.
Understanding of NoSQL databases is a plus.
Experience with Groovy or Kotlin is beneficial.
Experience in designing front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS3, and JavaScript is a plus.
A good understanding of CI/CD practices is a plus.
Experience working with AWS is advantageous.
A good understanding of Scrum methodology is a plus.
Experience in the security domain is a plus.
Experience with marketplace enablement is a plus.
Excellent command of the English language is required.
