SANDBX is establishing a new team for a partner that is a leading global consumer insights and market research provider.
The product is a platform designed to help businesses gather and analyze data from surveys and consumer insights.
This platform enables businesses to analyze data to gain valuable insights into consumer opinions, preferences, and behaviors.
It provides tools for data visualization, reporting, and interpretation, allowing businesses to make informed decisions based on the gathered data.
The platform has been in active development for over 10 years and is used daily by clients.
It runs on Java 11, JDBC, Servlets, JSP, Tomcat, Maven, Thrift, Git (Bitbucket), and MS SQL.
Typical tasks include new feature development according to product management specifications, fixing bugs, and refactoring old code.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in backend development and possess strong Java knowledge.
Familiarity with SQL, database, and caching solutions is required.
Candidates should be able to solve algorithmic tasks and understand the architecture of web and Java frameworks.
Hands-on experience with Java 11 is necessary, along with basic knowledge of Servlets and JSP, or a willingness to learn.
Candidates should not be afraid of reverse engineering when necessary.
Strong team-player qualities, excellent communication skills, and fluency in English are essential.
Candidates must be willing to work in a completely remote environment.
