Description:
CoLab helps mechanical engineering teams bring life-changing products to market years sooner with its product, the Design Engagement System (DES).
The company serves large engineering organizations such as Ford, Johnson Controls, Komatsu, and Polaris across various industries.
As a Senior Developer on the Connect Build team, you will collaborate with developers, Product Managers, Designers, and QA specialists to transform product ideas from concept to production features.
You will work closely with Product Managers to evaluate and shape roadmap items and provide mentorship to Intermediate and Junior Developers.
Responsibilities include interpreting complex customer problems, collaborating on product features, implementing process improvements, participating in code reviews, championing user experience, and contributing to company vision.
Requirements:
You must have professional software development experience with production-level SaaS products and experience in mentoring and coaching peers.
Proficiency in Java, PHP, and object-oriented languages is required.
Exposure to Typescript, Python, HTML, and CSS is considered an asset.
Experience with front-end build, package-management, and testing tools such as Webpack, NPM, Jest, and Cypress is a plus.
Familiarity with version control, release management, and CI/CD workflows is also an asset.
Competence in UI/UX design and attention to detail is preferred.
A consistent track record of building and maintaining highly scalable products is considered an asset.
A passion for teamwork with an emphasis on respect and continuous improvement is essential.
