Description:

LivePerson is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join their team in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, with remote work options available.
The role involves designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
Responsibilities include designing REST-based backend services, debugging production issues, maintaining existing code, and developing technical specifications and documentation.
The candidate will participate in on-call rotations and collaborate with the Bots & Automation team to build the next-generation bot runtime platform.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 6+ years of software development experience.
A solid understanding of data structures and algorithm design is required.
Strong programming skills in Java and Spring Boot, with good knowledge of multi-threading, are essential.
Expert-level knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL) such as Cassandra and MySQL is necessary.
Experience with data processing tools like Kafka, Airflow, Apache Spark, and Hadoop is required.
Candidates should have experience building REST APIs and debugging distributed microservice-based applications.
Proficiency with Git, Jenkins, and other development tools is expected.
Experience integrating with third-party APIs and familiarity with Kubernetes is required.
Experience with NodeJS and Python is a plus but not mandatory.
Familiarity with GCP and AWS is also a plus.
