As a Senior Java Developer, you will develop, maintain, and optimize back-end systems for predictive freight pricing solutions.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement high-quality Java applications.
Your role will enhance the product's performance, reliability, and capabilities in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities include designing and maintaining efficient Java code, participating in the full software development lifecycle, optimizing application performance, and collaborating with team members.
You will also write unit and integration tests, troubleshoot software defects, and contribute to application and database architecture design.

Requirements:

You must have 5+ years of professional Java development experience.
Proficiency in the Spring Boot ecosystem for building microservices is required.
A solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems patterns is necessary, along with hands-on experience.
Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, with experience in query optimization is essential.
You should understand REST architecture and API development.
Experience with Git for version control is required.
Familiarity with CI/CD practices is necessary.
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack is required.
Strong skills in writing unit and integration tests are essential.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration is required.
Experience with AWS or similar cloud services is necessary.
Proficiency in both English and Russian is required.
Desirable skills include experience with message brokers, familiarity with databases like MongoDB, and knowledge of agile methodologies.
Previous experience in the logistics or transportation industry is a plus.
Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently are essential.
