Remote Senior Java Developer

Description:

• Bright Vision Technologies has an immediate contract opportunity for a Senior Java Developer based out of Dayton, OH.
• The job is remote and is targeted towards experienced professionals.
• The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing scalable web-based applications.
• The role requires hands-on programming and debugging skills in Java, JavaScript, JSP/Servlet, and J2EE design patterns.
• The developer will work with service integration concepts, particularly with RESTFUL services, SOAP-based web services, and IIB integration.
• Experience using Git for code management, Maven, and JIRA is required.
• The position involves designing and developing solutions for Non-Functional Requirements, including performance analysis and tuning, benchmarking/load testing, and security.
• The candidate should have at least 5 years of Oracle experience in database design, creating stored procedures, and performance-tuned SQL for quality execution.
• Knowledge of XML, XHTML, prevalent XML parsers, JSON, and XPath is also necessary.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 10 years of experience in IT.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in designing and developing scalable web-based applications or relevant industry experience is required.
• At least 7 years of hands-on programming and debugging skills in Java, JavaScript, JSP/Servlet, and J2EE design patterns are essential.
• Experience with service integration concepts, especially RESTFUL services and SOAP-based web services, is required.
• Proficiency in using Git for code management is necessary.
• Candidates should have experience with Maven and JIRA.
• The role requires the ability to design and develop solutions for Non-Functional Requirements, including performance analysis and tuning, benchmarking/load testing, and security.
