Description:

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our team and play a pivotal role in conceptualizing, developing, enhancing, and managing core components of our client's audio streaming software platform.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies within an AWS-based microservices architecture.
Responsibilities include writing well-designed, testable, and efficient code, developing functionality within an AWS-based microservices architecture, and adhering to and helping enhance SDLC best practices.
The role also involves designing, implementing, and maintaining high-volume, low-latency Java-based applications, contributing to system architecture design and implementation, and troubleshooting and resolving issues at the microservice and/or integration level.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 4+ years of experience in software development, specifically with Java platforms.
Strong experience with AWS is required, including comfort working with Kinesis, Fargate, and DynamoDB.
Proficiency in Spring Boot and microservices architecture is essential.

The position offers a direct hire contract for an indefinite period, providing stability and continuity.
The work schedule is Monday to Friday with flexible daytime shifts in EST time.
The work modality is work from home (WFH), and candidates must reside within Colombia.
