Description:
Kyivstar.Tech is seeking a Senior Java Developer / Tech Lead to join their team.
The company is a hybrid IT firm and a subsidiary of Kyivstar, one of the largest telecommunications operators in Ukraine.
The mission is to create technological solutions and products that meet the needs of users and companies.
Responsibilities include developing high-load, distributed middleware and backend applications related to processing provisioning requests, order data-contents, voice, billing, and tariffication events.
The role involves designing and developing microservices architecture, writing unit, integration, and load tests, and creating technical documentation.
The candidate will also provide consultation on new and existing systems for project documentation approval and support service functionality.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of programming experience, with at least 2 years in commercial projects.
At least 2 years of management experience in processes, projects, or people.
Proficiency in Java 8/17, including knowledge of concurrency, parallel, and distributed programming.
Experience in developing web applications using JSON/XML and building REST architecture.
Familiarity with NoSQL databases, specifically Cassandra DB.
Understanding of relational database principles and knowledge of SQL, particularly Oracle.
Knowledge of CI/CD processes and experience with tools such as Maven, Gradle, JUnit, and CI/CD tools.
Skills in Spring Framework (MVC, Boot, Security), Akka (HTTP, Streams), Distributed cache Framework, and Hibernate.
Understanding and experience with data exchange brokers like Kafka and JMS brokers.
Experience with distributed systems and agile software development methodologies, including SDLC, Scrum, Kanban, XP, and WF.
Familiarity with microservices, SOA, monoliths, design patterns, Event Sourcing, CQRS, and DDD.
Experience with Docker stack and tools like Grafana, ELK Stack, and Artifactory.
Proficiency in English for negotiation and correspondence.
