Description:
Brandwatch is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in Brighton, UK, focusing on high-volume data processing and storage platforms.
The role involves building, monitoring, and maintaining core product functionalities.
Responsibilities include collaborating with infrastructure and application teams to enhance data processing systems.
The engineer will work in an agile team, translating requirements into technical solutions alongside the product manager and engineering lead.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Strong numerical and analytical skills are necessary for the role.
Knowledge of service-oriented architecture, big data systems, and distributed computing is expected.
Candidates should be comfortable working with Unix/Linux operating systems and command line environments.
